You misunderstood the point I was making.
I wasn't concerned about the higher price in Australian dollars compared to the US price since I have to deal with the exchange rate all of the time. That's not the problem. I was pointing out the difference in the two Australian dollar amounts ( in bold ).
If I pay in Euros, it costs me $51.39AUS.
If I pay in US $, it costs me $38.19AUS.
The product is not being shipped so there are no delivery charges involved. I still don't see why a download product should have a different cost ( an extra 35% in this case ). I'm sure you'd see my point if the costs were reversed ( which I understand they were for Football Manager ) and US customers were paying more
for the same product.
This just went from an automatic impulse buy to a "you-must-be-kidding-me" no sale.
