I do this in every game, although I always make an agreement to create exactly 1 young prospect (or randomly select with a number generator one from the draft list - under 18s) and name him for myself regardless. Since OOTP2, I've had maybe 20 different careers of varying lengths and had but one great namesake - a solid SS with career numbers around .310, 400+ HR, 400+ Stolen Bases in a solid 20 or so year career.

What price vanity? Priceless say I.
