Personally, I think it's silly but respect other people's right to like it no matter how dumb it is.
This happened today in our league. A team made a bid on a player during free agency. The player said he would consider the offer.
Other bids on this same player were made during the first five rounds. The player did not choose any of them and is still on the market.
The team I mentioned above tried to enter a new offer. This team was not the highest bidder so far, but did have their first offer considered. They were told, "I do not like your organization".
This makes sense (sarcastic). I accept your offer and then the next day I don't want another offer? Actually, it is just a little too random, wouldn't you think.
Anyhow, making it a controllable option would be a most reasonable solution.
