Jean Serres
Luxembourg Rating 1 HW 1950-56
In looking through BoxRec for guys who've fought in various titles, I ran across this Jean Serres whom I saw fought quite a few guys who I already had in the DB. Upon starting to rate him I realized then that I already had him in the DB rated by David Myers. Not sure how long ago that was. I decided to load him up into a schedule to see how he performed. Quite well David! I tweeked only a couple things. I lowered his HP to 0 and upped his Chin numbers one each. That seemed to pull the number of times he was stopped in a fight (11) in a bit better and got his knockdowns to around 1 or 2 every 27 bouts simmed. Otherwise a darn nice rating by David. I've added a bit of bio info with the attached file.
6 wins / 16 losses / 4 draws / 1 KO
==========
Rated by David Myers (Tweeked just a little by Rocco)
Defeated Ray Schmit in October 1953 for the Luxemburgian LHW Title in a 12 round decision. Serres' only other win of note was an 8 round decision over Robert Warmbrunn. Serres' weak chin(11 times stopped) accounted for his lack of success against more seasoned fighters. His losses mounted up against Robert Eugene, Willi Hoepner, Ansell Baba Adams, Jo Weidin, Gunther Nurnberg, Willi Besmanoff, Jose Peyre, Charles Colin, Peter Bates, Franco Cavicchi, Fernando Jannilli, Dick Richardson and Aldo Pellegrini. He did manage a draw with Hugo Salfeld and twice fought draws with Young Al Bernard.
