Wow, some of you who think that GM's should submit nearly professional resumes for your league need to relax. These are supposed to be enjoyable leagues that people join to have....yep, fun.

If someone sends you an application that says, 'I'm interested in the Rockies. Let me know if they're available', what the hell is wrong with that? Why would someone waste their time writing a prolongued essay about their OOTP achievements and history if they aren't even sure that they'll get the opening???

Honestly, the few leagues that I've been in--it has been the more 'experienced and mature' GM's that end up leaving, while the newer or less 'professional' ones stay and enjoy their time.

Most of you seem to take this 'selection' process way too seriously.

Example:

Commisioner: Hey, can you believe this guy sent me an application with no references, and almost zero experience. All he did was say that he wanted to play in my league.

*laughter*

Commisioner: What an amateur. Everyone should know that you must clearly state your previous experience, hobbies, social interests, favorite color, exact time availability, names of previous partners and at least two complex Calculus problems with subsequent answers.
