Damon is okay, but he'll be
vastly overpaid and he couldn't throw out Jason Phillips at the plate. Giles is definitely the best bet, he's perenially underrated and likes Dusty Baker. Which is a bit of a quandary, since I seriously doubt the Cubs ability to win anything with Baker at the helm.
