Could you clarify what you mean by this, please? Do you mean:

-just make sure the next line after a trade is on it's own line,
-there is a < br > tag after the last line in a trade,
-there is a < p > tag after the last line in a trade, or
-something else?

(I added the spaces in the tags for them to show up in my post.)

Thanks, Bruce, and everyone else for flushing out these problems for the rest of us.

BTW, for those doing this on their own I'd suggest first making a copy of your ltrans.txt and renaming it something like ltrans-original.txt (and just in case you save it prematurely with the changes, do the same with lalltrans.txt to ltrans-original.txt). Then do your changes to lalltrans.txt and save it as ltrans.txt. If you do what the others said you might get the same result, but I think it's less likely to make a mistake you can't easily recover from this way and you'll be able to keep the original ltrans.txt.
What I mean by a Hard Line Break is at the end of each trade transaction, press the "Enter" key once. This will create a blank line after each trade transaction.
As for the retired players signing with another team, I've yet to see it with 6.5b, so I'm inclined to believe Markus fixed the problem. However that is only my experience with my own leagues. If you are finding that it is still occuring, then it probably should be looked at again by Markus.
