Nah, this is a different one. The other one I was talking about got caught up in development hell and I never completed it. Or, really, I did complete everything except the fielding. At this point, if I have time, I may start again from scratch and see if I can remake that one.
The idea of the other one is to take every player and average each of his seasons with his career average. So, if you take a guy who hit an average of 20 homers a year and there's a year he had 40, in the database he'd have 30 for that year. The idea of that one is to make guys import closer to their mean ability, and for guys who came up with one or two AB to get rated close to how they really were.
My new computer does computations a LOT faster than my old one, so doing this stuff has suddenly become much easier.
