* Lost to Al Cole in the finals of the 178-pound match of the Olympic Trials in 1988. He didn't live up to expectations as a pro...performed well against the bottom dwellers of the LHW division but had issues when he stepped up in class. He ended his carrer losing to Cliff Couser and Ed Mahone. Also lost KO 1, to Jimmy Thunder.
