Chacon and Wright have both pitched out of the pen, but neither did it well. Chacon deserves to be in the rotation; Wright can pitch out of the pen. Assuming Wright himself can stay healthy and effective, I'm sure there will be plenty of chances to fill-in for the regulars.
I don't think the Yanks will re-sign Small; I think he'll end up somewhere like Kansas City, Cincy, or Tampa.
I know the Yanks have been trying to get starting pitchers for awhile, but I think they'd be wise to at least look at picking up someone new.
Wasn't there a Kevin Brown for Andruw Jones trade rumored at some point? It's too bad that one didn't go down.
