Normally it wouldn't. But I was on the fence. I had planned on rooting for the WSox (unless they met the Angels somewhere along the way) because of Paul Konerko being on the team and the fact that they haven't won anything since when?

Most of the time when I don't care much who wins or loses, I wait until I start watching the series and I'll find myself reacting positive when one team scores and reacting negative when the other scores, and that lets me know where my feelings are and I go with it for the rest of the series. But as it is, if anyone but the Angels make it to the series, I won't have much to root for. In the past I definitely would have gone RSox, but they had there moment of glory and quickly became annoying. Whereas the Yankees have been annoying for quite a while which left me rooting for the Angels and WSox. But now I'll just root for Angels and then hope for the best. As it stands, I don't care much for 7 of the 8 teams in the playoffs so I'll just have to enjoy the sport of baseball regardless of who is playing and root for all the series to go their full 7 or 5 games (whichever the case may be) so that we get the most baseball. Nothing worse than a sweep of the series like last year.
