Perhaps the correct response would have been to link the announcement:

which lists the alleged fixes line by line and which should be the focus of verification. Having said that, let's return to the process of checking those things out and noting any new anomalies instead of becoming locked in unnecessary debate about protocol.

It's pretty clear how some of us feel about one another and our approach to matters of various import. What needs to be clear now is that we all share a burden of inquiry into this patch to make sure that the last effort for this version is the most we can also share in allowing it to become.

I've made my apology for my uncharacteristic abruptness. Now I'm making my more than characteristic plea for a consensus of aim and direction. Appreciate all of the efforts all of you expend, and will expend, in ensuring the game becomes a better, even more reliabe one.
