Star Player
The man from a country but is named after another – Dominican Republic’s 21-year-old shortstop Israel Baca. But unfortunately, all that shows you is how poor this team may actually be. He may be a nice, average player who will bat .285, with 15 homeruns, and 40 RBI but when you have nothing else in the way of offence, those types of numbers are not going to help your team.

National Player
Finally, someone on the active roster who’s German (not a Canuck called Ryan! – Ed.). His name is Alexander Lauterbach, he’s a third baseman from Regensburg, and his main asset is that he can hit the ball into the outfield more often than not, making him a key RBI man for the team with the lowest payroll in both leagues.
Nationals: Wes Bentley (USA – BL), Simon Guhring, Alexander Lauterbach, Jason McCarter (USA – BL), Manuel Moller, Jendrick Speer
