When I discovered this game (about 12 months ago now), it was literally like a god-send to me. That is not an exageration.
When I was in my mid-teens, my brother and I made a boxing game using dice. We made a bunch of fictional and real fighters and matched them up against each other, with each of us controlling one of the fighters.
Ever since then, I had longed for a boxing game like TBCB, where I could create a universe and document or journalise it. Later, I purchased Knockout Kings for the PlayStation. I had hoped that you would be able to match the fighters against each other and watch them fight. When I realised that you could not do this, I was disappointed, because I wanted to use KK to do exactly what I'm doing with my HBF thread in Inside the Ropes.
I am absolutely content with TBCB. A role-playing version does not interest me in the slightest, because I feel that what I can create with my own imagination far exceeds the limitations of a RPG. But that's just my opinion. I know there are many others who want the RPG.
