I commented many times before how eerily fortunate we were to have the White Sox go to the 1919 and 1920 WS's... lose in 1919 and win in 1920.
Now, just like RL, the Giants kinda stink but the Dodgers are coming of a WS loss to the Yankees with a talnted club and they're both leaving town... JUST like RL... eerie but cool.
Oh, I just finished watching the 1950s chapter of Ken Burns' Baseball. Wow what a documentary. I got it a month ago as a late birthday present, and it is just awesome.
