Actually, Georgie Boy has swung a bit too far back the other way. After the A's said no to a Kotsay/Cabrera-Clippard deal, George wanted to bring Cabrera right to the majors from AA and let him take over the CF job. Cashman told him to give him a chance at AAA first.
