Actually the games list is pretty accurate. The us census has a list of the top 639 hispanic surnames posted. Also there is a US last name file with 87,000 + surnames with frequency and you can take the hispanic names after 639 from there. There is also a first name file created by the census bureau also. I was actually looking at pursuing this about a year ago but gave up on it because the lanames file is pretty accurate. Other than frequency the list in the LANAMES.dat almost mirrors what the US Census listing has for the top US Hispanic names. Decided that volume rather than frequency was more important. So instead of a ton of GARCIA (18th most common surname in the US/#1 Hispanic Name) being created I like the idea of popping off with a random name - to get more of the Zuniga, Riojas and other hispanic names that are not so common.....


I have the list of US Last Names, US First Names and the listing of the top 639 Hispanic names (no frequency though because they are on the US LAST names list).
