If the league that got deleted isn't Career2005.lg, you may try the original setup.dat that I posted here:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ight=setup.dat . It will point the game to that league upon opening instead of the deleted one. If it was Career2005.lg, he may have to reinstall the game again.
