Brett Myers pitched an amazing game, but Andy Pettite's was just a little bit better. Myers went 7 innings, only giving up 1 run, and striking out 10 in the loss, Pettite went 9 innings, giving up only 3 hits with 9 strike outs.

The lone run in the game was a home run by Eric Bruntlett in the 7th inning.
