In a stunning piece of news, the Boston Red Sox have become available in the FFL.
The
Boston Red Sox (AL East, 16-21) are our defending champions right now, and they probally won't be available for very long. Their owner has become unable to keep up with his work, and has had to resign from running them. The good news is that they are in excellent shape and stand a good chance of contiuning their World Series reign.
In other news, for those that want a bit of a challenge, we have two clubs that will need a bit more work to get them competing.
The
Texas Rangers (NL South, 13-25) are in decent shape, but they need a bit of help if they want to get into the playoffs. Still, they have a decent core of talent still, and with some good moves and smart drafting, are a team that could compete soon.
The
Arizona Diamondbacks (16-22, NL West) got off to a seriously bad start, but have shown signs of life lately, putting up some good numbers and surprising other teams. The pitching has been bad, bt the hiting has been better than expected.
