Thanks for the thoughts. I admit, I hadn't thought of that idea and I understand your logic. The thing is, I would still need to add another expansion team. And I don't want to bolster the already good teams. For the Giants and Pirates to go getting even more good players would just widen the disparity. I like the idea of the Expos getting a crack at a Josh Gibson or somebody like that. I think what I will do is the Negro League team, so as to not completely rip their top guys from them, will hold onto any of the negro leaguers who made Bill James' top 100 players all time. So right there that will give them a solid core. I'm still deciding how to handle the rest of filling of the roster. Your idea may come into play in some degree. I'll certainly keep it in mind.
