SUNDAY OCTOBER 31
Our reserve squad is in action and they play the Airdrie United Reserves to a 1-1 tie. 17 year old Stephen Anderson scores for us and we get a tremendous game from 16 year old midfielder Mark Fulton. The tie keeps the reserves in first place in their group, one point ahead of Raith and Berwick.
Our under19's also enjoy success in a 3-0 win over Greenock Morton. Mark Stewart, Jake McGregor and Mark MacDonald all score for us. We sit in the middle of the table with a 4-2-2 record in this league.
MONDAY NOVEMBER 1
Our board congratulations me on the opening game tie and add they are hoping for a long and successful era under my management.
Meanwhile Airdrie United's Kevin Christie has been named the Scottish First Division player of the month. Martin Scott of Clyde, our next opponent, finished second in the voting and the 18 year old goalkeeper was also named the league's Young Player of the Month. Manager Billy Reid of Clyde was named the top team boss of the month. He led Clyde to 4 straight wins in October.
TUESDAY NOVEMBER 2
We continue to train for this weekend's game with first place Clyde. Meanwhile today is a busy day in Champions Cup play.
