Hello all!

Home Plate Baseball League (http://www.hpbl.pointatrad.com), originally a 2004 MLB player/team league, is currently getting ready to begin our 5th season of play. Spring Training is to be simmed on Tuesday, and then the first sim of the 2008 season is set for next Sunday at 6 PM Pacific.

We are currently looking for one (more) owner who will become an active, contributing owner to the league!

The team in question is the San Diego Padres (http://hpbl.pointatrad.com/Leaguesite/team29.html). The former GM took this team and turned it into a powerhouse team before he resigned, and we do miss him a lot! The team has a very nice combo of a young pitching rotation along with a strong veteran stating line-up. This team could possibly be a World Series contender this season, it is that good!

This league is NOT your run-of-the-mill OOTP online league. Here is why:

CATO database updated after every season
BOSI Database

Japanese Developmental league! This was announed this passed week, and we're stating it this season. If you're wondering what this may be, you may view HERE
Coranto. Owners may post all of their articles straight to the front page.

Arcade. Are you bored at work or at home? Play a flash game or two, and try to beat fellow owners' high scores!
League Files are archived after every sim for reference
Owners have the ability to vote players into the All-Star Game
Owners have the ability to vote on End-of-the-Season Awards
Dedicated league staff that cares about the present and the future of the league
