Starting off with quality owners is the key. Do NOT get your owners by posting in the Online League section of the OOTP boards unless you want a bunch of high school and college kiddies. Best way to recruit your owners is to ask people who you already are in online leagues with who you know are good owners. Also do not let people in your league who do not even own the game. Those owners will quit at the drop of a hat. Also stay away from current roster leagues because those seem to attract alot of the young kids and always fail.

If you start off with a good group then you will usually have a pretty easy time keeping the league full. You might still have to pick up a new owner from time to time but it won't be every week.

Those comments were worthless. I've noticed that new, up to date rosters work the best. I have been in several leagues like this and only one stopped (because of site complication). I've seen draft leagues and historical leagues and most of them never get past the 1st season. I do agree that it is best to have a league with people that know each other. And if a person dosen't own the game OOTP6, you are being very stereotypical to say they will quit that quickly, because few will.
