By the player card, I'm assuming : he was just drafted in a preseason draft - or signed as a created FA - also preseason.
Along that line of thought ... While I think he could be a productive major leaguer - I think I'd put him in AAA. He's only 18, and I think some pitches out of high school would help. Mostly, however - I'd teach him to play CF & RF - shouldn't take him that long to learn .. and the versatility could come in handy.
Another line of thought - a bit shady, but something to think about nonetheless ... He's 18 & signed for 4 million for 3 years. If you could afford to keep him in the minors for the length of the contract - he'd come into the pros as a 22 y/o superstar with a minimum contract for 3 years and arby for 3 more. Would end up saving you alot of money in the long run IMO.
