As for saying she should play in the majors as opposed to a girl's league - that is because the rewards are far greater in the majors than in the girl's league. Think about it genious... you can talk all you want about how much you respect a woman at the top of her game in a girl's league - talk is cheap, but the real rewards in sport come from playing in the highest echellon of sport. Everyone agrees that the MLB is the highest league for baseball - NOT the womens league as you would have us to believe. The competitive spirit will want to play in the highest league possible, and have a chance at the rewards and the glory that MLB offers.
*I* am placing all leagues on the same scale - *YOU* are separating them into a male and female scale...
What I said was that if a woman has the talent to play at the major league level, then why shouldn't she? I believe she should be allowed to play in any major league PROVIDED she can stick.
You are the one who would outlaw her immediately based on her sex, and go tell her to "keep her expectations real."
