Exclamation Need YOUR help with a schedule experiment

I'm looking for a volunteer or two to help me test out a schedule for OOTP. This experiment needs YOU!!!

I regret to say though that you'd have to key in the schedule manually, as I only have it in text form. Fortunately, it's not too big as it's for a single, one division league playing a 140 game schedule. Specifically, it's a modification of the actual, original schedule for the American Association of 1890, but with a twist.

It also includes Baltimore, making it a 9 team league in total.

The idea behind this schedule is that, if it works, it will allow those folks doing historical simming that starts in the pre-1901 era to run the league so that it will mimic the coming in and dropping out of teams during a season as happened historically. So, for example, you will be able to simulate seasons such as the 1884 AA or 1891 AA more like how it actually looked.

Sound intriguing? I hope so.

The other thing this schedule will test is whether or not OOTP can in fact run a league with an odd number of teams in it. At present, the only known restriction is the game's schedule generator, which cannot handle this type of situation. Manually entering this schedule will bypass this restriction, and thus we can finally find out if OOTP has any other difficulties with the "odd number of teams in a league" scenario.

If you're interested and would like to help out, then post back here and I will explain more of the details. I'll also happily answer any questions anyone has.

Sign up now!! Be the first person on your block to brave the unchartered world of OOTP and an odd number of teams in a league!
