Tips on backing up:

Create a batch file that will do it for you automatically. Have the batch file switch to the league folder and zip up each folder. Skip on the photos, as they can be backed up on their own. They do not change by the program.

Zip the file up into a different folder. You could even get creative and have it create a folder based on the date and have a different backup every season.

This way, when you close your game, you just double click on the icon on the desktop and watch it work. This is better than the backup built into the program, as the files are zipped up, taking less room to store and or transport.
