Has it never made an almanac or are you saying it just stopped in the last 2 seasons? Check your hard drive space if thats the case perhaps. I dont know of a setting that would not generate one and I just looked through the game settings and didnt see one. I have it set to automatically update the almanac. Depending on what else your saving like game logs and box scores your yearly almanacs can get quite big.
