Zito was great for 6 innings last night. Too bad he wasn't pulled before everything blew up. I don't think his pitch count was very high at that point so I can't blame Macha.
What a sorry excuse for an offense though. Shut out in back-to-back games! This team can't hit their way out of a wet paper bag right now. Athletics Nation is calling for hitting coach Dave Hudgens' head.
