The A's piss me off with their approach to K-Rod. The guy has very little control with his breaking pitches. I'd say 1 out of 15 actually end up in the zone. I know the batters can recognize it because I can recognize it while watching on TV. Hatteberg was actually too patient: he should have lit him up on the 2nd fastball. Durazo had a good approach but just failed to execute. That happens. Kielty looked terrible (nothing new) but got a lucky infield hit. Melhuse's at bat was infuriating. It's like he didn't watch the previous three batters. If he had, there's no way he would've swung at those pitches. All this from a team that is supposed to be patient. They lose their minds when they face this guy.
