Manfred Ackers career of futility
After loosing by 10th round TKO to Vogrig, Ackers then was decisioned in 4 rounds by Rudiger Schmidtke in June 1968 and then in 6 rounds by Kurt Stroer in August.
That brings up a pretty decent Italian Heavyweight opponent in Armando Zanini who is 4-0 in October 1969 after a year layoff by Ackers. Zanini outpoints Ackers in 6 rounds.
