Manfred Ackers career of futility
After loosing the 4 round decision to Holmqvist, Ackers then fights Yvan Prebeg in December 1967. Prebeg wins an 8 round decision over Ackers.
The next month, in January 1968, Ackers fights another new guy on the boxing scene..

Stopped 17 times in 21 losses, many of those within the first 3 rounds. Apparent glass jaw fighter at the best. Did have some punch of his own though with 9 KO's in his 10 wins.
Franklin lost 10 of his first 11 fights, 8 of the losses were KO or TKO. He lost to Raimo Nisula, Manfred Ackers, Harry Kneipp, Yvan Prebeg, Wilhelm von Homberg, Lion Ven, Jose Manuel Urtain, Paul Roux, Giorgio Bambini, Arno PricK. His only win was against an Einar Lestad. Then in June 1969 he KO'd Ireno Werleman in the 5th round to start a 5-1 streak for him through 1970.
It was back down hill after that again though going 4-10 including losses to Rudi Koopmans, Armand Xhonneux and twice to Uwe Meinicke to end his career.
