If the team needs his bat, then maybe 1B (as I said before) is where they should put him. Crippling your rightfield (no range, no glove, no arm) to put a .260 hitter in the line-up is dumb. I'm sorry you feel he is whining. Batista is going to need all the Defense he can get.

Durazo is a .260 hitter with some pop. He is not going to single-handedly lead this team to victory (although I hope I am wrong).

If your looking for total offense, then they should play Colbrunn at 3rd instead of Matt Williams, Durazo at first, and Mark Grace in rightfield. You could slide Matt Williams into either leftfield or SS if you are really Jonesing for power. Wow... doesn't that line-up look like a winner?
