League website updated!
Two exciting pennant races came down to the wire. Cooperstown and Racine each surged to within a game and a half of the conference leads in September, but both fell short and were eliminated in the last week of the season. Atlantic City also made a late push but were eliminated on the penultimate day of the season in an 11-inning loss to the Bluesox.
So it will be the Blackhawks versus the Vipers in the World Series! I'll be contacting woody5254 and Operation Shutdown to see whether they would like to take control of their teams before the series begins. We'll sim the series on Monday evening.

"Red" Fredericks of Valois ruptures an elbow ligament in a loss in Atlantic City. It's not a serious injury, but he won't pitch the rest of the year.

Brian Fish (WOR), who went 13-for-25 with 2 HR and 7 RBI. WC POW: SP
Mercury Barstow (FON), who went 2-0 with an 0.61 ERA in 15 innings (12 K's).
October 1 - EC POM:
Alex Rosaschi of Wantagh, who went 3-0 in 4 starts, with an ERA of 1.30. He's recovered from his early-season woes and went 7-10 with a 4.27 ERA this year. EC BOM:

Kip Carlson of Corvallis, who went 2-1 in 5 games started, with an ERA of 0.90. WC BOM:

Matt Chatham of Bethel Park, who went 12-for-22 with 2 HR and 8 RBI.
Lou Gehrig (.350/44/134) officially wins the league Triple Crown. We'll see what he can do against Bethel Park pitching.
