What sixto is basically trying to say, I think, is that football is so random that who comes out of the season and emerges as Super Bowl champion is just as much a product of dumb luck, a couple calls, and one play in a big game as it is skill. A 16 game schedule will never tell you much of anything about the quality of a team in any sport.
