the problem with Kitterman is that every contender has a 1B solution as rebuilding teams dotn have a need for a 36 yr old contact monster.
for example:
The Yanks have Stewart :droll:
The A's have Poulos or Gallais or whatever his latest prospect is
The Indians have Tipple
The Cards have Nunez
The Pirates have Giardiano(sp?)
The Phillies have Arrendale
and we've got McMurray
I think only the Cubbies would really have a use for him, and even then I think they've got someone there (Johnson?)
Not exactly good news for moving him at all. He'd be too expensive to be a PH and he has no proficentcy in other positions. If ti was the DH era it'd be different, but he's forty years too early for that extension of his career.
