1. Yes, you can move players off the 40 man roster. They have to clear waivers and be moved to the minors first if in the majors. A player who is on the 40 man does NOT have to have a minimum salary. Players with MLC's can be on the 40 man roster.
2. Yes you can release a player at any time, however you will have to buy out the entire remaining contract.
3. Yes, you can move minor leaguers up and down from A to AA to AAA without penalty.
