Anybody else think Rhodes might get a shot to close if Wickman faulters?

And what the hell was Guillen thinking? Leaving Vizcaino out there for 60 pitches? He better learn how to manage a bullpen!

Uribe is a douchebag.
Rhodes got messed up trying to close last year. He's great as the lefty specialist, but I wouldn't want to hang closer on him. Betencourt looks good for it, but bombed trying it last year too. Long term I think Davis is the best bet, but he's not ready for the role now. He needs a year as the main setup man before we can be sure he can handle a shot at it.

Personally I think closer is way overrated, then you see how hard it's been for Cleveland to settle it. I probably dis on the role too much because clearly it takes a certain kind of guy to do it. Riske looks like closer material right up until you hand him the ball in the 9th. Some guys just can't handle the situation regardless of their skills.
