(MILWAUKEE - AP) - Brewers 3B Rich Rollins smacked a 3-run home run to spark a 6-run outburst in the fifth inning, as Milwaukee overcame an early 2-0 deficit. Brewer starter Jim Roland struggled, walking eight in five innings. Milwaukee OF Wayne Comer homered for the second straight game, and is 4-for-6 since a week-long hitless streak ended yesterday.

(MILWAUKEE - AP) - Tommy Harper's single in the bottom of the 11th drove in Rich Rollins to give the Brewers their second straight win over the California Angels, 7-6. The Angels scored three times in the first inning, but saw Milwaukee claw their way back to a 6-4 lead by the fifth. Wayne Comer doubled and drove in two runs for the Brewers.

Sudakis came off the bench and clubbed a three-run home run with two out off Angel closer Ken Tatum. California had enjoyed a 3-0 lead going into the ninth, as Andy Messersmith had struck out nine before running out gas with two outs to go in the game.
