Robert was a French Canadian pro wrestler and briefly was a plodding boxer. He fought Natie Brown in a 1940 Montreal bout that was described by the Ring as a "fiasco". Robert went down in the first; Brown took him very lightly as he was clowning and posing for the crowd. In the second, Brown dropped from what he claimed was a foul but was counted out. Thus ended Yvon Robert's pro boxing career.
