Phillips, well, you can't hit, what, .176 in ST? and expect to be on the ML roster. I expected Phillips to eventually be the everyday 2B, but he's gotta improve.

But if the offense is humming along this year, they might need to sacrifice the bat at one position to shore up what right now is at best and everage middle infield. Granted, .176 is too much to drop down too, but I think given time Phillips should at least be around a .230-.250 hitter. For a gold glove caliber defender (and as I understand he really is that good) it may be worthwhile.
