Smile West Coast Baseball League ends 1st season, has many openings!

The West Coast Baseball League, a v6.12 league, follows the "what-if" scenario in which the Major League Baseball owners and the Players Association does not agree to a new CBA in August of 1994. Farther apart then ever before, commissioner Bud Selig decided to fold the MLB. From there, four regional leagues forum, one, is the West Coast Baseball League, a league with fictional teams and fictional players.

After a rather long GM check, the following teams are open.
Seattle Storm - Had the largest payroll in the league at season's start but brought it down. Has a lot of high payroll players on this team, and could use some youth.
Prescott Pilots - Lost the division lead by just one game to the Las Vegas Stars. Had a slow start but heated up towards the end of the season.

If you like a great fictional league with a good batch of owners, and a solid financial and rule base, this is the league for you. We always love active owners who like to post a lot and write good articles. But if article writing isn't your thing, that is fine.

If you're interested, you are welcome to send the commissioner at commish@wcblbaseball.net, or post a thread in our Non-owners forum. Please include the essentials, like your name, e-mail address, AIM screen name (if you have one, it is not required), and a little about yourself. Please include a list of about 2-5 teams that you would interest you the most, highest first, and so on.

Please apply soon. We move on to 1996 on Wednesday! CATO Database is expected to be up and running when we do process to 1996.
