It's in the context of their time, so if I were using era-specific ratings, in the deadball they would hit 14 HR or in the 90s they'd hit 50.
Also remember 2 things: First if a player was imported in a season where he was among the top in HR's (i.e. a 14 HR season in the 1800s or early 1900s) he would import with a higher power rating than if I used his overall career average. And second, all the HOF'ers and AS's we drafted came in a rookies, so a lot of them are not fully developed, which is why they had poorer seasons than you might've expected. They will get better as they develop.
