Both spellings are listed in the dictionary...I would think either spelling would be fine.
I checked with the world-renowned and most famous Buckaroo of all...Buck Owens...great country singer of the '50s and 60's...and idol of Dwight Yokum...and Buck spells the name of his band "Buck
Aroos".
(I hope I spelled Yokum right)
