At all events, here are the ratings for Pierre Vetroff. The Marseilles bantamweight was born in 1936. Fought from 1958 to 1970. Record: 32-24-2 (9).

French bantamweight champion, 1960-1962 and 1962-1969. Lost four EBU bantamweight title bouts. In May 1964, he was outpointed by Risto Luukkonen. Mimoun Ben Ali decisioned him in February 1965 to claim the vacant seat. Vetroff lost to Tommaso Galli in March 1966. And Salvatore Burruni ended his great career by knocking out Vetroff in the ninth in April 1969. (Vetroff had upset Burruni two years earlier, winning on a TKO in the seventh.)
