Nisula died on May 23rd, 1969 at the age of 26 suddenly ending what looked like a possibly good boxing career.
Anyone familiar with Nisula as to what happened?
He'd defeated Lion Ven by 7th round TKO a little less then a month before his death. It was his 4th consecutive victory, having beaten also Willie Johnson(20-35-2,9KO), Francisco San Jose(14-12-3,10KO) and Ulric Regis(8-9-0,6KO), who'd handed Nisula his 3rd defeat about 6 months previous.
Earlier wins in Nisula's career included over Manfred Ackers, DAve Ould(22-11-0,4KO), Manfred Markgraf, Jo Juvillier(14-14-3,5), Harry Kneipp and George Dulaire. He lost to Ermanno Festorazzi and Alfredo Vogrig(33-17-4,13). In his 2nd career fight, he fought a 6 round draw with Jurgen Blin.
