Matt doesn't do it in the order you put them in. He gives priority each year to people with less ancestors, so if you happen to luck out and debut in a year with only 3 ancestors, rather than the usual 14, your ancestor has a better chance of having good talents.
I do think it would be cool if our
alternate selves would be top picks when they debut, however. Otherwise, I'll be drafted in the 6th round and creed will be an undrafted walk-on.
