I wouldn't put him in.
Just kidding. Since everybody says he should be in, I thought I'll be different. :-)
But seriously, his career was on the short side, but boy did he put up numbers. Definitely a HOFer.
That brings up an interesting question that I have: Do you guys change the default numbers that come with the game for HOF criteria (3000 hits, 500 HR, etc.). I am undecided what to do on that issue. I am currently in 2029 and it seems like 500 HR and 3000 hits are a "normal" career for my players. I have currently 8 pages of players in the HOF. I think it is too many, but I am not sure what criteria to change. After seeing so many players get into the HOF, I decided to remove some players from it, but unfortunately the game entirely deletes a player when you remove him from the HOF. I wish the game would put him in the retires players list.
Would like to hear your opinion on HOF criteria.
