Here's a tidbit apropos of nothing. I learned this when I was at a job interview in Minneapolis. Do you know why all the Twin Cities teams have always been called the "Minnesota [X]" rather than "Minneapolis [X]" or "St. Paul [X]"? (Well, except for the Minneapolis Lakers and we saw what happened to them.) Because people from Minneapolis and St. Paul hate each other's cities so much that they would root against a team with the name of the neighboring city.
